Well as the old saying goes, "you can't throw a stone with out hitting," a South Sider in the Sister Lakes Area of Michigan! Just two and a half hours due East on I94 and your there! With 6 Lakes,(Cable, Round, Dewey, Magician, Big & Little Crooked) and lots of cottages, boats and fun things to do, we just spent a lovely week there. With so much to do and enjoy, what better way to do it than in familiar environs with people you already have so much in common with! It's a great place to meet new friends too! My daughter met new friends from Naperville, Evergreen Park, Chicago Ridge and Crete and I was fortunate enough to meet their parents! We have lots of numbers and email addresses to follow up with. Usually we visit the farmers markets and St. Joe or just hang out at our beach for fun but this time we enjoyed visiting the winery's and gourmet shops! We spent an afternoon at the Karma Vista Winery and the Chocolate Garden Cafe in Coloma, MI just 20 min. or so from the cottage. I am definitely planning a fall winery get-away with the BFFL's(Best Friends for Life.)You know who you are start packin!
